We miss her...

I am so thankful for everybody comments and all the warm words, and understanding. You guys made it so special to me, and I really appreciate it. Thank you!

Things here are the same... I still miss Adi, and even though I thought I will feel better after a few days, I am not. I guess I finally did get in my mind what had happened, but have not regrets. Not seeing Adi around feels empty.

The dogs are fine. Didn't really changed much in their behavior, except that night when we were burring Adi: inside the house, they all were barking, whining and were extremely hyper. Billie the cat, on the other hand, for the past few days, has been very quiet, not so playful, and just different. Usually very vocal, now Billie only miaows whenever spoken to. Both Rob and I show her more attention and love. She's been sad, obviously missing her big sister. There is no one to play with at night, and causing troubles when we are asleep. This morning she was active, which made me very happy. Last thing we need right now is a depressed kitty.

Tomorrow would have been Adi's 13th birthday, and we are going to take all of the zoo (with Billie on the leash--yep) and go to Adi's little grave and share her favorite treats among the pets. We will have some small snack for us and Tom and Kathryn too (human food, not cat's). Maybe also this weekend I will plant some flowers around the stones, but I have to pick some that are good for year long. I know that Kathryn knows all about plants and flowers, and she will help me picking them up.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADI!! It sounds like a wonderful tribute party for a pet that gave you so much love and comfort for most your adult life, Beata. It doing things like this,it will help your heart heal a little at a time. Give yourself that time, as it won't happen in just a few days.I hope Billie is back to her old self now too.

Hello Aunt Cindy, you are so sweet! Thank you for wishing Adi happy birthday. I will let her know when I take the dogs out tonight. :-)
Billie is doing better, although last night, after we went to bed and closed the door, she was searching for Adi around the house and crying loudly. I took her to our bedroom, but she wasn't in the mood for sleeping. Usually the kitties played at that time... But I think she is getting better. LOve you!

Beata, it was so neat to be outside together at Adi's grave celebrating her birthday. We should have had a beer and then it would have been just like a Bozarth New Year's Day, when we visit our parents' grave.

It was cool that the animals got Adi's treats. They'll visit her grave every day now.

We'll all miss Adi and sad she's gone, but it's good to know she's in a better place without pain and without sadness. You'll see her again someday. I know it! ^_^ *hugs*

Beata, I'm so sorry about Adi. I hope your feeling a little better by now. I know it's a hard thing to go through. You and Rob's memories of her will be with you forever.
