My visit in Chicago
This is not exactly how I planned to view my trip to Chicago. Not all of the pictures had been uploaded so I will be posting in several parts. Blogger is acting on me again... I will write more in my next posting, but as for now here are some pictures of me, Aunt Karen, Uncle Jim, and Frank, at their house where they have a whole snow village displayed in their basement. The bar looks good too! I didn't have time to drink, though. Oh, well, no hang-overs is always good. ;-) We've had so much fun together and enjoy each other's company a lot. I miss them a lot...

I was so sorry to hear of Karen's Aunt Mary's death--it's especially hard considering it's so close to Katie's. Much love to our family in Aurora.
sounds like you had a nice visit...the decorations are overwhelming....all I keep thinking, is "who will help put all this away?" I am only doing the tree next year, b/c no one here wants to pack things away after the event. Is the close up house the one you chose to live in? I am still holding out for the slum area. I'd feel at home then.
