Saturday at Judy's

I am really in a hurry to post all about the events that happened before I have to write about Christmas. Like I said in my previous posting, we've had an amazing day yesterday at Judy's. And I wanted to uploaded ALL of the pictures we've taken, but the mean Blogger acts like a Scrooge and is not allowing me to add more more pictures. I will try later though...

It was our first time at Judy's house. She lives in Sanford's historical district, in a beautiful, old house. It reminds me totally of those houses I've seen and visited in France. Especially the interior. Wow! I was in love with it! And Judy did a great job with decorating it and furnishing. That's another reason why I took so many pictures, and I hope to be able to get them here, so everybody can see the beauty of it.

We've had so much fun, more than we even expected. There was a whole table full of different kind of cheeses, desserts, wines, teas, and my favorite--S. Pellegrino water! This whole house looked like a French country house of a chic lady. Loved it! Judy set everything so pretty, and her Christmas tree was, again, different from what I've seen so far. Booth sisters, Judy and Linda, have this talent of making things so artistic.

There was presents too. Yep--I am getting spoiled and quickly start loving the American version of Christmas. We ALL got presents! Even our zoo was not forgotten! Everybody got tons of gifts, so beautifully wrapped that we felt bad to take the bows and paper off. I took pictures of ever each box, wrapping, paper and contain. Couldn't help it. It was so much fun! We were also put into a Christmas mood by singing Christmas songs, while Kathryn played piano. Ohhh... I just wished she never stopped. It was so romantic and warm and just Christmasy! I wish my grandma was here to experienced it, and enjoy it.

It was just a perfect afternoon right before Christmas. We are so lucky to have Tom and Kathryn, Linda and Judy, as our new family. Without them, living here would not be the same. They all bring so much joy and warmth to our lives. We feel like we've won in a lottery by getting this house and in addition, this loving family that became our own. It also feels so good and right that Mom can be here with us for our first Christmas together, in the US, and in our first house.

Below is a new posting too, from yesterday. Please check that one too, as for now I will try to catch up in no time!!! Love you all!!!

Thanks for posting the pictures, honey. They are really good. I had such a nice time with Tom, Kathryn, Linda, Judy, and of course my own Rob and Beata. Even though I'll definitely miss my traditional (non-traditional?) Christmas Eve with the Bozarths, I'm very happy to be here with you. Thanks for everything you do for me. Love you.

I'm glad you had such a great Christmas! Too bad about the weather, but we didn't have a white Christmas either. It felt like old times at our house with both our daughters home! We are still having so much fun.
I hope your uncle gets better!

Merry Christmas Beata (and Rob and zoo) This is the first chance I've had to sit down and catch up with the blogs...I hope you had a beatiful Christmas mixed with both of your native traditions...Like Aunt Andre, I am sorry NONE of us had a white Christmas, but maybe you will get some when you visit Aunt Karen...

Jer, quit stealing Joe's idea's ;o)he wanted to give Beata a 'special' Christmas wish.
