HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It's 2007!!!
Happy New Year and best wishes to all of you! I can't believe that we are, once again, a year older! ;-) But it's a new adventure, and I can't wait to see what the New Year will bring us. It's exciting!
We've had a really nice and quiet New Year's Eve. Our friends, Tom and Jenea, and Tina with Matt, came over and we celebrated that night with them by playing poker, drinking champagne, and watching New York's Time Square on tv, and the count down. It was wonderful. And for the first time in our new home! It's amazing to experience all the important days in our new house. We love it! So does the zoo. But when it got pass their bed time, all of the dogs were tired and grumpy. Especially little and spoiled Chilli made noised that were so funny. He just missed his (our) bed. Poor guy. ;-)
Our guest left around 3.00 am, and we went to bed around 4.00 am. It was so late, and either the dogs or me, are not used to it. So we all slept in this morning. Rob's generously offered to take the dogs out in the morning, and then left the bedroom with all of them, so no one would disturb me. I loved the change and this royal treatment! Happily I got back to sleep and woke up at 2.00 pm! I told Rob how much I appreciate his gesture this morning, taking the pets away from me, and letting me sleep. He said that he knows how nice of him that was and that he will do it once again, the same time, in a year from now. That's Rob for you. Happy New Year everybody!

HAPPY NEW YEARS TO OUR NC FAMILY!!! I can not even imagine staying up that late anymore...however I did wake UP at 4:30am with my mind racing through all the things I had to do before our own guests arrived. I finally decided I was not going back to sleep and got up at 5:30am...I am NOW very tired. We did go out to see a movie last night with Uncle John and Aunt Paulette, then to TGIFridays for a snack after....too much Tea for me resulting in my inablity to sleep through the night. We were all hustling around getting the last minute cleaning and dishes prepared. Everyone was here and ready for the cemetary by the usual 11:30, then back for food, games and visiting. It was a good day! Can we count you guys in for next year?

Happy New Year to you too, Aunt Cindy! I am sorry that you didn't get enough rest, and I know exactly how it feels when you get stressed before big visit. But at least you guys had a great time!
I am not sure about the next year... too far to make plans, but we sure would love to see you all.
