Weekend and more...

Finally it's weekend! We decided to just relax... just me and my baby (Rob, not Chilli). Although Rob has some projects to do for his work, it will be nice to just be together. This afternoon we are going to see our friend, Steve, at his house. We might be playing poker so Rob is getting his boxes with chips and a table, ready to go.

I spoke to my Grandma this morning and she suggested that maybe she should look for a job, since she feels so bored every day. Nope, Grandma wasn't kidding. Yes, she is 90 years old and can't really walk. But you have to give it her: that woman has TONS of energy and a clear mind!

Last week I felt bored (with my hair), and decided to cut my bangs... Last time I had bangs, I was 14. Rob was terrified when I disappeared into the bathroom with our biggest scissors. Here is the result:

The following day I was bored (with my hair) again and decided to just cut my hair off. Since it was a weekend day, I knew there is no way I would be able to find an available hair stylist. It's not like I have one, either. So I decided do it myself. To cut it with those big scissors. I did the sides and the top, and the back of my head Rob took care off, after I showed him how. He said that I was totally crazy trusting a husband with a big job like that. But I know how creative and smart he is, and that he will copy me exactly the way I did it. So... here is the result:

Mom seemed to like it, and she asked me to cut her hair too. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of her with the shorter hair, but she did looked good. I only trimmed her bangs and the back of her head.

Cute pictures. Have fun at Steve's. I'll post some pictures of the kids later--as soon as Jill emails them to me.

I just cut all the dogs' hair too. They love it.

Beata sweetie...I am beginning to think that even if you shaved your head and grew a great big wart on you nose, you would STILL be gorgeous!!! I LOVE the bangs, and the shorter hair too. You remind me of me in my youth. Donna would always say at every haircut...What do you want THIS TIME? because I never wore it the same for very long. Too bad it takes so long to grow out though, just to start cutting it all off again to try something new.

And your little Chili has grown into quite a young man...

For the record...There is not a prayer in Hell that would let me give Uncle Joe a scissors to use on MY hair. If we didn't know it before we all know now JUST how much you love Rob. (or you'd been drinking...A LOT)
