The most intelligent dog in the world
Yep--Chilli has now his own subscription to Popular Science. Like father like son. More and more Chilli looks like his daddy. That's what Rob says... And Rob's latest wish is, to have an air freshner for his car that smells like Chilli's ears and face. I've never heard of anything like that before, but will try to find it. ;-)
It's been getting colder here.Yesterday morning when I let the dogs out, it was only 20'F! Wow! I loved it. Today is cold too, and I hope it will stay that way for a while. I am not waiting for snow anymore... but maybe one day I will get a surprise.
I am missing Adi, the same as the day she died. But it's true that time heals, and I do feel better now. I just think that she is now in Cat Paradise. Billy the cat is doing better too. She is back being silly herself, which makes me very happy.
Not much else to report here.

I am so happy to know that you are feeling better. I know that it still hurts, but knowing that you did the right thing so that Adi wouldn't suffer has got to help a little.
We have some snow on the ground here, though not a ton. It is coooooold today. It was only 6 degrees when I left the house. Brrrrrrrr......
Well, this weekend will be a tough one. This will be Dad's first anniversary (on Friday) without Mom, and Jim's first first birthday without his loving mother-in-law. Dad is NOT looking forward to Friday. Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe a Bears win would help??!?!? Go Bears!

That is one smart doggie you got there...and my doxies loved Joe best too, though he never thought they smelled good...If it is cold there is ALWAYS a chance for SNOW>>>never hurts to hope. We still have some on the ground, but we are suppose to get another inch of CLEAN snow tomorrow..YAY!!! I do hate the bitter cold and it is 6 right now here...BRRR...but it is winter, so I will bundle up and wait for spring.
Say a little prayer for Uncle Joe...he is having a 'procedure' Thursday, and is NOT a good patient

Aunt Karen, I know it's still very tough for you guys. My heart goes out to all of you, but especially Frank this week. He's missing his beautiful bride. I would be too.
Best of luck to Uncle Joe! Aunt Cindy, I wish we could get some of your snow--just once for my girl. She's been not-so-patiently waiting this winter.
Aunt Karen, please, let Frank know that we will be thinking of him and Katy on their anniversary. We are sending him tons of kisses too! The same for Uncle Jim, many, many, many, hugs and kisses!!!

Aunt Cindy, Chilli IS extremely smart, that is true... ;-) But he shares his love equaly between me and Rob. He is so adorable! Which expains why Rob is so crazy about his youngest son. ;-)
I didn't know that Uncle JOe will have a surgery. I hope he will do well, keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Rob...at least you didn't say you wanted air freshner that smelled just like Chili's butt (though honestly, in my head, I can hear you saying just that) and you CAN get snow for your girl.....bring her to Illinois. (though today, she'd freeze her tushy off)
Uncle Joe said he was going to tell the doctor that if he planned to use the same instuments, could he please look down his throat FIRST before he looks up his butt. He gets funnier when he is nervous...and he has been hysterical this week!!
Chilli could end up being smarter than all of us! (well most of us) I'm glad you're feeling better.
I wish we could send you some snow. My yard is an ice skating rink! It's so cold here!
Tomorrow Raleigh is supposed to have snow, sleet, and ice storms. Don't know if it will hit us; we're an hour southwest of Raleigh.
