Nothing exciting
Finally we can feel that it's winter. This morning when I went out with the dogs, it was only 16'F! Wow! That's the lowest so far. Now, even though it's noon, it didn't get much warmer. I love the crisp air! It's beautiful outside! Both Rob and I are still in need of warmer clothes, but we will be better prepared for the next winter.
Mom is now in Florida, working with the Red Cross. She was supposed to be there three weeks, but it might not take that long and she will be back in a week. We talk with each other every day, just to make sure that she is safe.
Billie the cat is still in some kind of stage of depression. From being the most sociable cat (well, she thinks she is a dog), to a loner. She would sit in the dark kitchen, staring at something. She's been like that since Adi passed away. Billie also eats now less than before. Just enough to make it through the day. She needed to loose some weight but now I am getting worried. I prefer her to be fluffy and heavy, than sad and skinny. I do play with her more and give her more attention, so I can see that slowly she is getting more to be around us. I just hope it will continue to get better...
Here is our youngest son, the cutest and smartest dog in the world! ;-) Him and Bella play so hard until they both can't move anymore.

How old is Chilli now? He looks like he is really getting big, but such a cute. On the PUPPY BOWL on TV Sunday, there was a LONG hair dapple doxie, and i could have reached in the TV to take her home...oh so cute.... Glad you are having some fun Winter weather...it is VERY cold here, so Kirby is missing his long walks, but it is suppose to warm up next week into the 20's...that will feel like spring here.
Hello Aunt Cindy, Chilli is now exactly 8 months. He is a big boy, but to us, he is still a tiny little baby. :-) But he is still getting longer!!! How is that possible? ha!ha!ha! I hope you get some warmer weather soon so you can take walks with Kirby. Love you!
I'd take Chilli home with me in a heartbeat!! He is too precious. Glad you are enjoying the cold. I've about had enough now!! I'm ready for warm, sunny weather.
Stay warm!
Hi, Beata. Love you. Mom (Will be away a lot longer than a week now.)
Hi Beata,
Brrr... it is cold. We have had a few days where the high is 2 degrees and the low is around -10 degrees. We did have a few inches of snow yesterday so it made driving kind of bad.
That little Chilli is so cute. What a marvelous personality! I can see mischief in his eyes even though he tried to look so innocent!
We are hanging in there. I will be much happier when the weather gets nice and we can be outside. Before that happens though we are going to start to try to go through some of mom's things and get closets cleaned out.
I miss you and wish you were here.
Love ya,
Aunt KAren
Poor Billie! I bet she needs extra attention (and maybe a kitten:})to help her get over Adi. Chilli is adorable.
Chilli is the smallest Golden Retriever I've ever seen.
You know, I miss R and B, but I REALLY miss the zoo.
I am sorry it took meso long to answer.
Kelly, I understand you feel like that--he is so handsome! :-)
Aunt Karen, send some of that cold weathe this way, and than you can get early spring! How about that???
I miss you guys so much and think of you all the time.
Aunt Andrea, I agree about the kitty! ;-) Actually it was Rob's suggestion, but I think he was already falling asleep and didn't know what he was saying! But I made sure to remind him of that!
Honey, you got it all wrong, Bobby is the biggest miniature daschund!
Mom, the zoo misses you too! :-)
I was just noticing that with Jer out of the house you dont' seem to have time to blog as often....You and Robbie busy (wink wink)??????
We are suppose to get 5 more inches of snow tonight and tomorrow...will be thinking of you!
Aunt Cindy.... what is wink, wink???? (just kidding!!! ha!ha!ha!)
