Weekend Stuff
I am dedicating my whole Saturday to more unpacking. It seems like I am not making any progress here. I am hoping to be done this weekend at least with the library and the rest of the kitchen.
Yesterday I went to Fayetteville. First I took care of some stuff on F. Bragg, where I did some driving, since the base is huge, and for the first time didn't get lost! Not even one time! The same goes to driving around town. I think finally I got used to it, which after a month a half, is pretty much expected. :-) Then in the afternoon I went to visit Micki, Jason, and their girls. They live over an hour away from our house. It was a lot of fun and even though we planned to watch a movie, we ended up talking until late. Micki and Jason are our friends from Okinawa, but they both left in that first year I was there. So we had a lot of catching up to do. I think it was 10.00 pm when I left their house and drove home. Didn't get lost either. Well, ok... almost. I was listening to Black Eyed Peas pretty loud, and accidentally I ended up in Sanford. Thankfully, it was only about 1 mile away from home, so I turned and went back (laughing at myself--after all, I am BLOND!) Come on, it was dark!!!
