We are online!
It feels wonderful to be connected to the rest of the world! I had no idea how much I missed my laptop, emails, blog, and all of the good stuff that comes with it. We also got our new home phone number, which I emailed to everybody already. Slowly, but surely, we are getting settled. The house still is empty, but we are hoping for our shipment to arrive soon.
We love this house more and more by second! So do the animals. They are just running crazily around the empty rooms and love to be outside. I bought a little collar and a tiny dog leash, with small bones patterns on it, for.... Billie. For those who don't know, Billie is a cat. Well, she thinks she is a dog. And let me tell you, this cat LOVES that collar and walks outside on the leash like she did it all her life! She actually stands by the door and mauws loud so we can take her out. Ok, I created a monster. There is no way back!
Yesterday, we got our first big mail!!! Surprisingly, it was a package, and it was from Pier1. We got our first house warming gift!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! We were so excited and happy! It's a beautiful set of wine glasses that we really wanted. But.... there was not even a single piece of paper, or any form of a note, and we have no idea who it is from, and who to thank for that gorgeous gift. Please, let me know who send us this beautiful package from Pier 1. But whoever it is, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! It is a wonderful addition to our new (empty for now) house! :-)
Plus, we can't even explain how fun it is to be able getting mail! On Okinawa, we had to drive to the post office and check our mail box for mail. Here, it comes right to our house/door/mail box! How cool is that? We are loving it!!!
This place is just amazing. The weather had been great. We wake up every morning looking at sun brightening the grass through the threes in our backyard. And when we walk outside with the dogs, our hearts almost can't storage all of the happiness that we feel.
Soon I will post some pictures...

I am so glad to hear things are coming together for you in the new house. Won't be too long and you will have your house stuff back again.
Thank you Sis! I can't wait for the shipment to arrive, but we also are not so sure if even half of the stuff will enter our new home! ;-)
So glad everything's going well, honey. Wish I could say I sent the gift, but I didn't. I'm going to wait until your shipment arrives, and then you can tell me exactly what you want from me (besides me visiting). :)
I'm glad you two are enjoying your new house! Sounds beautiful there.
