Happy Easter!

I wish you all a wonderful, sunny day, and a great time with family and friends! :-)

It is definitely warm and sunny here, in NC. Yesterday we went for a little trip to Raleigh, and even though it's quite far away, it was fun learning about our new area. It took us about hour and a half to get there, although we got lost few times looking for the downtown. (My map skills are not as good as Rob's, so I take the blame on me!). It seemed like everybody left town, because the streets were pretty empty. We loved the downtown and found the best Italian restaurant. It's owned by a REAL Italian chef, who we befriended yesterday. His name is Mario. His daughter, Mia, is working there with him, helping around. Very sweet girl. The food was all what I wanted and dreamed about! We both loved it! And all the wine!--Wow! And finally I was able to let Rob taste Tiramisu--made the real way! He enjoyed it so much! Everything was amazing and we decided to come back as soon as we can.

It was nice to get away from the hotel and every-day's stress.
We drove by Carolina Trace, where are new house is, and the place looks just breath taking. So anybody who comes to visit us, make sure to arrive during day time, ok? The first impression of those gorgeous lakes surrounded by trees is hard to describe.
We should know something more about how the appraisal went, this week. We can't wait to move in. We miss the house. We just loooooove it!
Plus, after over three weeks here at the hotel, the room is getting less comfortable. And there is no a/c. I am serious. Only a fan on the ceiling. We are frying in here since it got really warm lately. It's worst during the night, suuuuuper hoooooot! I have been waking up every morning with migraines.

We can't wait to see our pets, too. We miss them so much. I know they are being spoiled, well taken care off, and getting fat, but we wish we could at least talk to them on the phone... We miss our babies so much.
But it will be soon. If the paper work goes fast and smooth, we might even be able to move in earlier, maybe at the end of this month. I really hope so. Our beloved Chester said that it might be possible. It would just wonderful!
We already bought furniture to fill the whole house, but they are still at the store. Soon, we will also get our shipment from Okinawa. I guess it will take a while before everything calms down, and returns back to normal.

Oh, and I am (intensively) looking for job. I can't get it off my mind. I am getting kind of obsessed, but can't help it. I want to work!!!!! :-) I have done some research, like newspapers, internet, and asking our new friends. We will see how it goes. But I just can't wait to start working!
I have a few good ones to look at, but I will tell more about it when I know more for sure.

We miss you guys, our family in the US, Poland and Denmark; our friends, in the US, Okinawa, Poland, Greece and Denmark. And our pets--in the US. ;-)

Have a great and fun day!

These are traditional Polish Easter Eggs.

Happy Easter, Beatka and Rob. I'm so happy things are going well--except for the heat. Are you sure you two didn't generate it?

(Did I say that out loud?) Love Mom

Happy Easter to you & Rob! I am so busy planning my trip to the US, but I did look at the photos of your New York visit and your house, and read some of your writings. Your house looks gorgeous! Can't wait to see you in Nashville. I arrive in New York on April 21. I can't believe it.

These eggs are beautiful...put their American counterparts to shame. Hope you had a lovely Easter together...sorry we missed your call...Uncle Joe put a song on as the ringer, and I never hear it. And I didn't have much of a chance to Blog surf this weekend, as we had to share our computer with our boys.

Dear Lisa, we are still not sure, because of the house. We might be either moving into the new place, or going to Quincy to pick up our pets. I wished to see you, though... :-((((
