On the way to Milwaukee, with a stop in Chicago

It was a great trip, but as we got closer to Chicago, the snow slowly disappeared. It took as a while to get to the city, and even though we were tired, we still loved the fact that we get to see Aunt Karen, her mom Katie, dad Frank and Uncle Jim. Since I missed them so much, I gave up meeting with my uncle from Poland. And I really don't regret my decision! :-) It was so wonderful to see them all.

How can you not love Frank?!:-)

It's so wonderful to be back in Aunt Karen's arms!

We also got to see their "snow village", left all set up especially for us. What an amazing view! Wow! Just breath taking!!! I've never seen anything like it... I loved every single piece in that whole beautiful setting. The fun thing was that we could chose which place we wanted to live. Everybody gets to do it, but the condition is that they have to be there, visiting Aunt Karen and Uncle Jim, in order to pick a place to own. I went straight to a Manhattan looking like house and got the whole penthouse. It turns out it was in NYC, and it was a building in Manhattan! Yep--I know what I want! :-) But to make my Robbie happy we also got a nice house. He got to chose that one... And it's adorable, like everything else in that Christmas Fairy-Tale Village.

That's my red Corvette, parked right in front of "Palm". There is only two Corvettes, and the second one belongs to Frank. He knows a good car...

The "Times" building is where my penthouse is. Love it!

Mom chose to live right above Starbucks, that smarty-pants! She knows what's good!

And here is where I work. Well... I am a princess. But, but, that was the only job available!!! (ok, I am lying! ha!ha!ha!) I thought it would be cool to work as a royalty, plus, I liked the house and couldn't decide if I prefered to live in Manhattan or... in a palace. Tough choice!

I just loved the cemetery. I know it's a weird choice of words, but I think it's soooo cute! Just look at that!

After saying good-bye to Frank and Katie, the five of us: Mom, Rob, Karen, Jim, and I, left for a dinner at near restaurant. The food was awesome, but the company was even better!

Ok,ok, I know... it's hard to get the two of us separated! :-)

After this wonderful dinner we drove to Milwaukee, leaving Aunt Karen and Uncle Jim behind :-(
It was already late, and we had another hour or more, ahead of us.
It looks like I am catching up with my updates, so check all what's below!

Loved all the pictures. We have been to Uncle Jim and Aunt Karen's, but never during snow village time, so we are homeless! It is pretty amazing huh? And you just have to love Katie and Frank..they are so warm and outgoing...Just like Aunt Karen. Just so everyone knows, I don't live there,I live in Quincy, with Uncle Joe. (typo in the first paragraph)Never fear though, lots of people get me and Karen mixed up!

By the way, Bea, I not only chose to live above Starbucks, I own the place. So that's even smarter than just living upstairs. Mom, the wealthy one

Mom, I am glad that Russ will be able to see all those pictures of you and your family, work, and fun places. And I am correcting the mistake--Mom OWNS that apartment above Starbucks! Lucky butt!
Aunt Cindy,
I corrected the name, sorry for that! :-)But you both are so sweet and I love you so much, so forgive me for messing up the names. :-)
Since you guys are homeless in the snow village, whenever you visit this place again, you can hang out at my Manhattan penthouse! How does that sound??? :-)
