Day before departure from Okinawa
That day we had to take all of our pets to the quarantine office at the airport in Naha, where we were flying from the next day. We borrowed Alex's mini van and loaded all our (happy to see us) babies into the car and drove all the way to the airport. They had to be checked 24 hours before the flight.
Everything went well, with the drive, paperwork and pets' behavior. They were so excited to be out of the kennel, even if for those three hours. We missed them so much too... Billie wouldn't stay in her cage so we let her out. She thinks she is a dog.

The same day I also had to mail all of the packages. I was more than happy to use Brian's car! Yeaahh! I loved driving it! But loading all those boxes was something that really tested my patience. But I did it. I guess because I am Polish. Or something like that. Take a look for yourself! Ok, Brian, if you are reading this--close your eyes now. Don't look at the pictures!!!

Later that afternoon I went to see my best friend Insuk. We said goodbyes with teary eyes. It was sad, but I will see her sometimes this year in the States, as they are moving as well.
In the evening we met our friends at pizza place so we could see them for the last time before we left. It was a lot of fun, and we are happy that we took some great pictures. We all planned on going to a karaoke bar right next door, but they just reopened and none of the english songs were available. Funny, hmm? Oh, well... after all, we are in Japan. Charmell and I had fun at the bathroom though, where we took some funny pictures. Also outside, while the rest waited for the others to show up. We were just being silly! (I will miss you sweetie so much!!!) When Johnnie and Monika arrived, we decided that it will be best just to go back to the hotel and prepare for tomorrow's trip. Rob had to run to work anyway and get some last stuff done. We hugged and kissed and said goodbyes to our friends and left. Monika went with me to the hotel, as we haven't had much time to spend together since she was gone. It was great and fun to be able to catch up and enjoy our time together the last day. I miss you, girl! :-)
That's me and Insuk.

Ok, that was our last night on Okinawa. Wow! We couldn't believe that was IT. But we got to spend it with our friends and that's important.
Remember that I am catching up with the updating thing, and there is more new postings below. So check those too! I am off to write another one! :-)

I am sure it was very hard to leave so many people that you feel so close to. Love the cleavage shot!(what are best friends for, if not to 'enhance'your beauty?) Soon we will be learning new faces and names on your blog as you and Rob make new friends in NC. Can't wait!
Aunt Cindy, of all the people--you noticed it! Ha!--My girl! :-) I love it!
Rob already has many friends here, in Fort Bragg, and although I miss my "Okinawan" friends, I am excited about making new friendships. And I am happy that we are not so far from the family either! Yeaahh!
