Back from New York!!!

I am back in NC, in my baby's arms. Even though I went to NYC for only 5 days, we missed each other soooo much!
I know I have a lot of catching up to do, with all of the updates and pictures to list, so I will pick up where I left it last. The New York posting will come as soon as I am done updating my blog with the Quincy and Fayetteville info. How about that? Hmm??? ;-)
And believe me, there will be a lot of gorgeous pictures to look at!!! Get ready!

Continuation of our arrival to the US:
It's COLD here!!! I mean--really cold! I was freezing my butt of, but Rob was in pain most of the time because of the low temperature. Brr......

After loading all of the animals and our luggage to the rental SUV, we left for Quincy. Mom was driving and Rob was resting on the back seat, accompanied by Billie, who wouldn't stay in her crate. She is such a daddy's girl...

Our trip went great, Mom and I joked and giggled all the way, and after about 5 hours we arrived in Quincy at Aunt Janet's and Uncle Tim's house. I wasn't nervous about meeting the whole family until we parked our big SUV in the drive way. Then I wouldn't come out of the car! I was so scared. I mean, come on, everybody was there... what if they didn't like me??? I thought, I knew all of their names, and it will be easier now since I could actually put faces to those names, but I was overwhelmed by the amount of people I was about to see. But as soon as I ended up in someones arms, and then someone else's, all of the anxiety went away and I was ready for more hugs and kisses. It just felt like I finally met MY family! Everybody welcomed me (and Rob) so warmly and with big smiles on their faces that the whole situation felt just natural. The only problem for me was that I had no idea, at all, who was who! Wow! It took me a while before I was able to "actually put faces to those names". Especially I got confused with all of the uncles. Man, they look all alike! But I just fell in love with the whole family in no time. It felt good...:-) We've had a blast and so did our pets! They got spoiled by everybody was so sweet to them. We even forgot how tired we were after our 30+ hours trip from Okinawa to the US. But after everybody left, we definitely slept deeply that night! I wish I could write more about what happened during our short stay in Quincy, but since I am trying to catch up with other postings, I will have to leave it here.

Thank you guys for the wonderful evening and for being so loving to me, Rob, and the zoo! I love you so much!!! :-)

And that was only the first evening we enjoyed with the family. It didn't even mattered that we were still jet-lagged, the feeling of being home was wonderful!

Not LIKE you?...are you kidding, WE all love you! You are like a breath of spring in this family...Who's ever hear of a "sweet" Bozarth? You are a doll and we all think you are great, and don't worry about the name thing, most of us can't keep each other straight half the time. We just can't wait until you come back HOME again. (thank heavens you have gotten back to your blog...I was having withdrawls)

And oops--it's still printing Okinawa time, so you'll need to change that. If you don't know how, let me know.
