Good news!

Today, early in the morning, our dear Chester called with great news. He spoke to our bank and it turned out that the appraisal went well. Chester just made our day! So now we have the inspection and the appraisal behind, which is a big relief, and we CAN'T wait to move in!!! We still don't know if we will be able to move to our new house earlier than May 4th, but we (and Chester) are crossing fingers.
As soon as it happens, we will be on the road and drive (about 16 hours, according to mapquest.com) to Quincy to pick up our kids! We just miss them sooooo much! Ahhh, it's so hard when the family is not together. At least it's hard for us... Our babies had been so spoiled by everybody, that they probably don't even miss us!
The weather here had been hot. And I mean HOT. Yesterday the temperature was in high 90's. It's not as humid as it is in Okinawa, but since our room doesn't have an a/c, we feel it badly... All my chocolates melted! But today it cooled down and we are hoping for a better night. It's hard to sleep when it's so hot.
There is not much else to report. I guess my blog will just get more and more boring from now on... ;-)
See you soon in Quincy!

This painting had been done on computer, by my little niece, Kamilka. She is almost 12 years old, lives in Krakow, Poland, and is just the cutest and smartest girl! She is also very talented. Kamilka creates the most amazing pictures/drawings/paintings. I miss her and love her more than I can even explain!

Your puppies are so excited to hear that news. Right now they are all tired out because we went to Missouri to run and play. They had a blast running around the yard. It was fun car trip too. Three dogs in the backseat got many looks from passerbys. Can't wait to see you!!!
God bless you, Krissy! What you wrote, brough wide smiles to our faces! You are so sweet to take care of those little trouble makers so well. I am sure they enjoyed the trip! How are we going to live up to all the excitement they get with you???? :-) Love you, sweetie!
I was at rehearsal so I didn't hear the phone ring. By the time I noticed you had called my cell, it was too late to call you back. This is indeed GREAT NEWS! Congratulations, honey. Mom
Good News indeed...Everyone likes to have a place to call home, and it doesn't sound like your hotel is cutting it. I hate being hot, especially to sleep. Your neice is very talented. I hope she continues to enjoy her art, she may be as good as her Aunt Beata before she knows it. Can't wait to see you guys, and hopefully you won't have to turn around and go right back after you pick up your zoo.
Dear Aunt Cindy, I hope that we can stay at least few days. But it all depends on Rob's work. But I MUST see you! :-)
My little niece is just adorable and I hope that she and her mom, Agnieszka--who is my cousin, they both can come to visit us in summer time. We will definitely take them to Quincy. They will be so excited to meet the family! :-)
Congrats on getting through the inspection and appraisal. Won't be long now and it will be yours.
Hello My Dear,
I am so glad to hear the inspection went well. It won't be long now! I bet you can't wait to see your kids!
Sorry I haven't called lately. Mom went in the hospital again on Saturday, April 15th and we have been up there a lot. I will call and update you when I can. She is still in there, but is off life support.
Love ya,
Aunt Karen
