IT IS OURS!!!

We now, are the official owners of this gorgeous house! Yeaaahhh!!!!! We signed the papers last night, after Rob's work. Everything went smoothly, as our agent, Chester, said it would. We got to meet his wife too, Diane, and she is a darling! We are happy to be living in the same neighborhood, close to our new friends. As we were driving back to our hotel, after the final closing, suddenly it stopped raining and a huge and bright double rainbow appeared in front of us, the whole way to Fayetteville. It just couldn't be more perfect! :-)

We are still overwhelmed and super happy, and we can't even talk about anything else! Our new, next door neighbors, Kathryn and Tom already called us few times asking how everything is going, and they also held our mail. Last night, when we went to the house (we couldn't resist, even though it was very late), we brought our doggies with us. They went crazy in that new house, and the new backyard. So much room to run and play! :-) We left the dogs in the garage and went to see our neighbors because they were waiting for us.

Both Tom and Kathryn were so happy to see us and extremely excited that now we are so close to them. The previous owner called them before we came, and said that it is all done. He also told them to wish us all the best of luck and happiness in our new house. I think that was SOOOOO sweet of him. I never experienced that before... Wow!

Kathryn and Tom have two dogs, very cute ones, and as we were sitting there, their dogs were all over us. We can't wait until they meet our doggies. It will be a lot of fun! We not only got the perfect neighbors, but also it feels like we became a family--that's how they treat us. They are both older and retired, and I think they are taking the responsibilities as our parents. They offered us guest rooms, where we can sleep until we get our shipment from Okinawa, and they offered us some beds, and anything else that we wish. We are going to stay in our house though, but it was very generous of them to offer that. But the best part is that the next Sunday there is annual "pool opening" party, and they invited us as their guests. They refused us paying for that event, there was not even a chance to convince them. Both Tom and Kathryn had planned it days ago... How sweet!!!! And we get to meet other neighbours as well.

Today, in the evening, we are moving out from the hotel, into OUR new house! We are soooo excited (have I said that already???), and we can't wait. Since we haven't installed an internet and cable service there yet, we will not be able to answer emails until maybe after this weekend. But we will see. So, my wonderful friends and family, I will send you our new address in an email, later this afternoon. Now I have to run and pack! :-)

Love you! (Very happy) Bea and Rob.

Beata...Your new home, new friends, and new life, truly is the pot of gold at that end of your rainbow. I am so happy for you, and feel relieved that you will have such wonderful people right next door to be psuedo parents for you both. Enjoy your move and settling in...hopefully your last for awhile. LOVE YOU BOTH.

Thank you Aunt Cindy! We do think that we are lucky, and the rainbow made it even more special. That's why I mentioned it. :-) WE love the house, even so empty--for now, that we are not thinking of moving or selling it the near future... Love you! :-)
