Snow... but not here!

This picture above is from Krakow, Poland, my home city. It's always so beautiful during winter time. I love how it's all covered in snow, no matter that is cold to the bone, I still enjoy the view and the crisp air.
So, it's warm here in NC, today 70'F. Yep, the closer to Christmas, the warmer it gets. That sucks. Next year for Christmas we really have to go to Poland to spend it the real way. ;-) Plus, it would be exciting for Rob to see the traditional way of having Christmas. I am kind of slacking in that department lately.
We are pretty much done with Christmas shopping and the tree. Everything is ready, and I am really happy that this year we got done so early. Our friends, Tina and John, invited us for the Christmas Eve, to spend it with them and Tina's parents. Her parents are coming for a visit from another state. This is going to be the first time for us, spending Christmas Eve in someone elses house. But I know we will have tons of fun.
Oh, I forgot to mention that last week I went to my appointment in Durham, at the citizen and naturalization office for taking the finger prints. Soon I will be called for the big interview. I can't believe that the next year I might become American citizen!!!!!!! I always said, and meant it, that this is the only nationality I would change citizenship to. No other country in the world I would do it for.

Hello :)
Your hometown is just beautiful. I am sorry to hear you have no snow there...maybe it is coming. We got ice and snow last night. I did not see it but Uncle Joe said the snowflakes were HUGE last night. We are suppose to get more tomorrow, and where I normally love snow, I have to drive Eric to Springfield, so hoping they are wrong this time. Have a wonderful holiday season...Merry Christmas
Hello Aunt Cindy, As always, I envy you for the snow and the ice storms. I hope the weather gets better for your trip, but please--be careful anyway! Merry Christmas to you too!!! I love the picture you sent us with the card! Thank you!
The photo from Krakow is beautiful! Looks like a postcard! (or is it?) Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too... ;-)
Thank you, Deb! It's a real picture. In Krakow it's so easy to take beautiful photos. :-)
Hey, sweetie. We'll have plenty of snow, so that must mean you should come see us. That's a great idea. Miss you. And wonderful news--looks like things are moving right along for your citizenship. Yay.
Beautiful picture!!
I can't even imagine 70 degrees right now as it's 5 degrees this morning!! I can see how the warm weather wouldn't put you in the holiday spirit. You MUST come spend Christmas with us some year...that would be so fun!
LOTS and LOTS of snow today...Wish you were here to see it all falling. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it snow!!!
It's beautiful here today. I just hope it sticks for a few days. That picture is wonderful. I'd love to visit there for sure.
Congrats on the start of your citizenship!
Thank you guys, and the snow bunny Cindy too! ;-) If that was possible, I would be on the very first flight to Quincy!!! :-) I wish we were there, with everybody, spending Christmas all together (in the snow!)
Adam said it is snowing HUGE flakes in NYC too....Sorry sweetie, you are the only one that doesn't have snow. And the roads are a mess here...seems the city of Quincy has forgotten how to do snow removal...I'm anxious to get home and stay there.
Beata, I posted pictures on my blog of our family playing in the snow this afternoon. Just thought you might enjoy seeing the kids having a blast in all that white powder. It's not supposed to last long though...icy rain coming on Thursday:(
It was 0 degrees when I woke up this morning.
