The 4th of November!

What a big day for all of us. I really wish I could vote. But I'm watching the tv, and keeping my fingers crossed. :-)
Yesterday was a big day for me too. I started my paperwork applying for American citizenship. Yeaaahhhhh!!!! Everything went well, and now I have to wait for the finger prints appointment, and than the "big" interview. Because I filed as a military spouse, it will be only 6 til 8, months. I can't wait! When the day comes, I want everybody here, at the ceremony! And we will have to party for days, too. :-)

We are lucky to have you as a citizen. Too bad you couldn't vote in this election!
What great news Beata! That will be such a special moment in your life, I"m sure!
Thank you, Dave. This elecetion is so important to me, and I also regret that I couln't vote... :-(
Kelly, you are totally right, very special. I just can't wait!!!
I'll definitely be there, honey. It will be a wonderful day. I remember so clearly the day Jill became a citizen. Such a little tiny girl raising her hand and swearing an oath to the US. It was so moving. Can't wait to celebrate with you. Love you, Mom
Those of us blessed to be born in this wonderful country tend to take all our blessings for granted. No one would tell you that any of us are perfect, but the principles on which our country was founded are still sound today. (I still get teary EVERY time they play our anthem) WE are only as great as the people we choose to be, and the freedom of choosing the best people to lead our counrty. I wish you could have cast your ballot today, but soon you will, and you will appreciate it far more having lived in the places you have. I keep saying 2009 will be the year of the Bozarth's, with weddings, at least one baby, graduations, and now a BRAND NEW CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. How cool is that?
Wow, Cindy, you brought tears to my eyes.
