My birthday
I can't believe that I am already 36 years old! Wow! I look like 20, and am wise like 60! ha!ha!ha! Just kidding! ;-)
Today I am not working, so I am having a nice relaxing day. I only wish that I wasn't sick, but I got a cold last week, and it's been getting worse and worse. I think I might have a sinus infection. NO migraines today--no!no! They are NOT allowed to visit my head on my birthday!
Tonight, when Rob comes home from work, we will have dinner with Kathryn and Tom. I am making a shrimp bisque, and Kathryn is making the rest. (How can you not love her???) I am so happy that I will be able to spend my first US birthday with my parents! :-) I already got my early present from them, about two weeks ago. I meant to take pictures of the whole box filled with gourmand English muffins in different flavors, shapes, and sizes. But... I realized that with my mouth full of delicious stuff, and half of the package gone. There was coffee, berry butter, scones, and other wonderful treats. I loved it all!
Yesterday, Mom had to fly to Texas and in the morning I took her to the airport. We left earlier, so she could take me to Panera Bread, her favorite place to eat, for my birthday. I loved it!!! And ate a lot! We had a great time there, and now I have a new favorite place. Mom will be back on Friday, but only for one night. Then she will continue her adventure the next morning, on her way to Mississippi. We are so excited for her!
Ok, I better go and start cleaning the house to tonight's visit. :-)

Let me get this straight...Jer took you to HER favorite place to eat for YOUR birthday????? I am sure you did have a good time though...TAKING her to the airport...(snickering here) I hope you have a wonderful dinner with Kathryn and Tom and that your first US Birthday becomes a wonderful memory for you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEATA....(I hope you don't mind, but Uncle Joe stole your baby picture from your blog to post on his)
It was her idea, Cindy. Honest. And I also gave her something else. I felt so bad that she had to take me to the airport on her day off, especially when she was sick. But the way she ate it was hard to remember she didn't feel well. :)

Aunt Cindy, thank you for your sweet wishes--you are just wonderful! And Mom is right, I did wanted to take her to the airport, and I did wanted to check out the Panera Bread place. And yes, I did eat a lot!!!! ha!ha!ha! Just ask Uncle Jim, he will tell you HOW much I can eat! ;-)
Mom, don't worry, I got it covered and taken care off! :-) And again, thank you for the present! Love you, and can't wait to go to Panera again!
