Tuesday with Linda

Linda, Tom's sister, offered me a little sightseeing around Sanford. So around noon we went to check the historical part of the town. I was really pleasantly surprised, wow. I didn't even know in what a beautiful city I live. It was cold and windy that day, but both Linda and I enjoyed our walk through the old streets with small stores and restaurants hidden in every corner. There is plenty of great restaurants and Linda decided that we should try the new Italian place. Oh, the food was awesome! And they were REAL Italians! Then we went to see the old theater, which one of the best theaters in this state. I picked a program and from now on will try to see as many plays as possible. I've missed going to a theater, and I can't wait to see it, for the first time, in the US.
We've had a lot of fun. I just love this place more and more! The city is trying to rebuild the historical part and they are really doing a good job. Once people pass the Wall-Mart and chain restaurant at the beginning of the town and pass the bridge, there is a totally different world waiting to surprise them. I can't wait to show it all to Rob! :-)
I need to start adjusting to the cold weather. It has been lately freezing here and I am still wearing sweaters! I have to get rid of that Okinawan habit. In the mornings, around 6.00 am is only about 30' degree. I am loving it! Now I am only hoping and waiting for snow!
