Promised Pictures

Kathryn's delicuous, and pretty, cake!

The first picture below the cake is from two weeks ago, dinner at Linda's.

And all the rest are from last weekend at our house.

It's obvious that I don't have time for tanning... ;-)

Finally I could post some pictures. I am glad that it worked this time.

I just came back from work. Thankfully I escaped the thunder storm. Today I worked only until 3.00 pm, the only day when I can come home earlier. It feels good. :-) Both Rob and I had been working a lot this week, barely even saw each other. The weather had been nice and sunny, and even though people say it's hot, it is not as bad as it was on Okinawa. The only thing that is annoying, is the frequent thunder storms. It gets really rainy with pools of water all over the place. I hate to drive when I am not sure of I am entering a lake or an intersection, especially at night!

I'm so glad you posted, honey. I haven't had time (as you know) to write at all, but look forward to having more time on the Independence Day weekend.

Great pictures, baby. Did I mention how much I loved that cake? Patriotic and tasty!!! What a nice combination.

Hello Jill, I miss talking to you on Skype! I need to schedule my days better so we can do it again! LOve you! :-)

Dear Aunt Andrea! How nice to see you here! You are so sweet. Thank you for your kind words and please, visit again. I do love my job, and even though it take so much of my time, it's all worth it. But I am hoping to get used to the schedule soon, so I can have more time to post again. Missing you!!!
Hello Aunt Cindy! We love the new patio furniture!!! It's been so much fun sitting outside and watching the dogs go crazy in the back yard. There is soooo much space! :-) I am working Monday, the day before 4th of July, but Rob gets to enjoy the 4-days weekend. He really deserves it.
Love you!

Cindy, I wasn't the one to make the cake this time. My birthday was Saturday and we all got together on Sunday at my sister-in-law's for a picnic and Rob made me a cheesecake- was it ever delicious!! He made it and Beata frosted it with yummy chocolate. We all ate too much but had a great time.

Kathyn....Happy Birthday to you dear....My mama would have be 70 on the 4th of July and She had cakes very simalar to the one you made the kids many years. I am glad to hear that Rob was being a gentleman, and made you a cake so you wouldn't have to do it yourself. He is a good boy, our Rob, and he sure found a sweet girl. Enjoy your special Independance Day Holiday!
