Back in NC, and pictures
Our trip back home went great. We stopped at Tamarack in West Virginia, an arts and craft center that was just beautiful! And we also went to see Indian museum and village somewhere in Virginia. Chilli was allowed to join us :-) He did so good during the whole trip that it really surprised us. But... when we got home, and the other doggies ran to greet us, Chilli started barking and growling at them!!! We had no idea what was going on. He didn't wanted any of them to get closer to us. He got better the next day, and now is all back to normal, but still we can't believe that he would try to be like that.
The dogs and kitties were so happy to see us. And it was great to be back at home. Our visit to Quincy was wonderful, though, and we've had such a great and fun time! Especially me at the wedding... ;-) I really had a blast! We miss everybody now, and are hoping that someone will come and visit us during summer time. Our pool is open now!
Last night, me and my friend Pia, went to the Art Museum in Fayetteville to a charity party, girls night out, with theme based on the movie "27 Dresses." I had my old dress back from Okinawa, and she bought a new one for that occasion. But most of the women at the party were wearing almost exactly the same things as it was shown in the movie! it was so much fun! Imagine a whole beautiful room, full of women in nice dresses, dancing like crazy, having fun and not back stabbing anyone! hahahhaha! It was awesome, and the museum raised pretty good money. The next girls night out party at the Art Museum is in October and it will be based on the movie "Moulin Rouge"!!!!! I voted on that one! I think me and Pia are going to make our own costumes. Ok, but this not exactly what I wanted to write about. Last night I met a woman, Anita Adams, who is Ansel Adams cousin! THE photographer, that I even went to see his exhibition while me and Rob visited in CA. I was so excited when I met her. She is an artist, in her late 60's, and she lives in Fayetteville. She is the one who invented the ornament glass ball with a picture inside. She has a patent in that, I guess how to put that photo in? I don;t know exactly yet... But, we became friends and she invited me over to her house, and her studio. She lives by a creek, and said that there are a lot of antiques spread around in that creek as well as on her property. She also has the most beautiful garden full of flowers, surrounded by old bricks from the Civil War, that she digged out of that creek. Anita is an excentric but that's why I like her even more.
Ok, I better start posting pictures before I get kicked out of blogger, or something similar happens. Love you all!!!!

wow, what great pictures of your trip home. I think you got nearly everyone. I am so happy you changed your plans to come early for my boys graduation picnic...thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was a BIG day for my family and I was happy we could share that day together. Kris and Brian's wedding was a BLAST for me too, and having almost all the 'grandkids' together made it so special. I hope all the traveling didn't wear you out too bad. Your time at the charity event sounds so FUN...and to meet Ms. Ansel must have been a complete thrill...I hope you do make it to her home.
WE all miss you here on Spring Street VERY much and can't wait until you visit again.
Glad to see you two in Quincy and really glad to see a new blog posting! You have some great pictures of your trip.....and I am so glad you enjoyed your 1st AMerican wedding here in our town!and a graduation celebration too.
Great pictures, I enjoyed all of them. I know you took a lot more so please post more later. It was great getting to see you and Rob again. Sure wish you could get out here more often but I know it is a very long drive.
Funny you stopped at Tamarack. When Uncle Tim and I went on our 25th anniversary trip 13 years ago, we stopped there also. We kept seeing signs for it as WV newest rest stop and we stopped to use the facilities. Little did we know it had just opened. When we went to leave the local news interviewed us and said it had just opened 10 minutes earlier and we were one of the first people to go through. They told us to watch the news at 10:00 and we could see ourselves on TV. Unfortunately, we were just passing through. It had a lot of beautiful locally made items though.
I'm so glad that we got to see you. We miss you already too. I think you need to come visit us in Kansas City and bring Chili. He would LOVE Journey!
Thank you for those sweet comments! I will post more pictures on Bozarth's blog, but it's not easy to do. I have them ALL on my Facebook though, so if any of you doesn't have a Facebook profile, maybe you can start one? That would be lots of fun and much easier, too. :-)
