I'm still alive!
It's so hard to find time to post an update. With the Facebook, My Space, and emails, there is barely anything left to say... Well, on Monday is my citizenship test, super early in the morning, in Raleigh. I've been reading a book about US history and politics, and I love it all. I feel pretty good about taking the test, but I am still nervous. I don't know how long it's going to be before I become a US citizen, but I am hoping it will be sometimes this summer. :-)
We are still taking the adoption/foster classes. We will be done with them in 3 weeks! After that, the social worker who is also the instructor in our classes, will be coming to our house and we will start the main part. I just can't wait! I'm hoping we will be parents before Christmas, but I think it should happen earlier than that. It's just all so exciting!!! And we don't even know yet how old is she going to be.
The weather is finally getting more springy, less cold, more sun. Both Rob and I have been in and out of having a cold. Just annoying. I can't wait to wear summery clothes instead of thick sweaters. Rob is also going to be licensed fire fighter next week. On Monday is his last day and the Academy, and he will be graduating. Poor guy has been so busy and stressed in between his job, fire fighter course, and the adoption classes.

Good luck, but I don't think you need it!!! Good luck also with the Fostering classes. Your life is sure changing a lot this year. Tell Rob congrats on being MR. Fireman...and tell him he doesn't KNOW stress until he becomes a DAD...he'll see.

I will probably have only American citizenship, because Poland changed the law a few years ago and don't allow dual citizenship anymore. That kind of sucks, but I want to do it anyway.
I can't wait to see Rob being a dad!!! ;-)
adoption/foster classes???? I cant think of two better people to nurture a child!congratulations on one of the best experiences of your life! I am excited for you both.
