Snow!!! Snow!!! Snow!!!

Well, kind of. We got a little bit of snow two days ago, but it's been below freezing point, so some places are still covered with snow. I love it, even though there is no comparison to other states (waving to all in IL!)

It all started Saturday night. We got warnings of snow and rain storms, following with quickly dropping temperature. The roads were supposed to be very icy, so all of the stores (even grocery stores) closed earlier. I was working that night, and I had to do the "emergency closing", two hours before the regular closing time. As I was driving back home, snow flakes were all over my front window. I was so happy! But because it rained so much before, not much snow showed on the ground. :-( Now we are left with some ice on the back porch, some snow here and there, and cool air. I actually love the freezing wind. It makes me feel like we actually have winter! It's been around 22'F, even 17'F at night, since Saturday, and I am hoping it will stay that way.

Last Friday we had visitors from Denmark. My friend, Kim, whom we ran into at the PX last year, and his wife, Anne, and their children, came to see us, as they are visiting their family and friends in the US. It was wonderful having them over. Their new little baby William is so adorable, and their daughter, Caroline, just as cute as she can be. They are staying in Sanford until the mid of February, so we will see more of them.

Her are some pictures!

Hello Mom, Dr. Tran will have her own posting. She can't be mixed with others. ;-)
Hey Sis, too bad it was just a little. Chilli has been freezing most of the time now. He needs a whole winter outfit!
Hello Aunt Paulette, so nice to see you here. :-) I think Bella loves the snow and all that comes with winter weather. She is like me! Love you!

I'm with you...LOVE the snow and even the cool temps, but it is below zero here at times, and that is just TOO cold. Hurts to breath. Kirby has been wearing his new fleece-lined rain coat on our walks..he hates it, but I think he is adorable. Glad to hear you got a taste of snow, and we really haven't had much lately. I'm ready for a foot of it, but it is suppose to warm up next weekend. Thanks for the pictures...I always enjoy them.

Aunt Cindy, I got your email about Kirby's new coat. I loved it! Sorry for not responding to it.. I know, I am bad. I just never seem to have time. I hope we get more snow too, even if it's a little bit. Love you!
Mom, if I had my computer with me at work, I would be posting all the time! ;-) LOve you!

I wanted Uncle Joe to Blog Kirby in his coat so everyone could see how cute he is, but Uncle Joe would rather blog his family with their silly head-wear. I don't see a difference except the people are looking silly on purpose and Kirby only does it because he loves to go for walks....doesn't that make him smarter than the Bozarth People?

I enjoy your blog Beatka! I'm glad you got some snow. It was in the 50's here today, but it's supposed to be back down to single digits by tomorrow night! I'd love some more snow - and another snow day. (when schools close)
